1. Introduction
Memo++ is a personal assistant application developed by Latour Creative Studio. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your data.
2. Data collected
The application collects and stores the following data, provided by the user:
- User account: username, password (hashed), profile picture (optional)
- Reminders and events: title, description, dates, recurrences
- Shopping lists: items, quantities, categories
- Memos: text notes created by the user
- Contacts: names and information entered manually (not imported from phone)
3. Permissions used
- Microphone: used only for voice control (speech-to-text transcription). Audio is sent for processing and is not stored.
- Notifications: for reminders and alarms scheduled by the user.
- Location (optional): used only to calculate sunrise/sunset times for automatic dark mode. No location data is transmitted to third parties.
- Biometrics (optional): used locally to protect access to sensitive memos. No biometric data is collected or transmitted.
- Internet: to synchronize data with the server.
4. Voice processing and artificial intelligence
When you use voice control:
- Your audio is sent to a transcription service (Voxtral / Mistral AI) for conversion to text.
- The transcribed text is analyzed by an AI agent (Mistral) to understand your intent and execute the requested action.
- Audio is not stored after processing.
- Voxtral and Mistral are French and European AI technologies.
5. Data storage
- Server: data is stored on a self-hosted Supabase (PostgreSQL) server in Europe.
- Local: a local cache (SQLite) is maintained on your device for offline functionality.
- Logout: the local cache is completely deleted upon logout.
6. Data sharing
Your data is not shared with any third party for commercial or advertising purposes. Data sharing is limited to:
- Collaborative features that you explicitly activate (shared shopping lists, shared events).
- Voice processing via Mistral AI APIs (audio processed, not stored).
7. Security
Communications between the application and the server are encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed server-side (bcrypt). No third-party cookies, no tracking tools, no advertising.
8. Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you can at any time:
- View and modify your data in the application.
- Delete your account and all associated data directly from the application (Settings → Delete my account).
- Contact us to exercise your rights of access, rectification or erasure.
