How to use Memo++

Voice control

This is the strength of Memo++: instead of typing, you speak. The app understands what you want and does it for you.

1. Press the microphone button (at the bottom of the screen)
2. Speak naturally, as if you were talking to someone
3. The app analyzes your request and creates the reminder, note, shopping item or event automatically

The app checks your reminders and memos, then answers directly, out loud if voice response is enabled.

If you enable voice response in settings, the app confirms out loud what it understood. Handy when your hands are busy!

Reminders & alarms

Reminders are made so you never forget. They ring at the scheduled time, even if the app is closed or the phone is locked.

Create a reminder:

• By voice: “Remind me to...” followed by what you want and when
• Manually: Reminders tab → + button → fill in title, date and time

When it rings:

• Stop: the reminder is marked as done
• Snooze: postpones by a few minutes (adjustable in settings)
• Ignored? Don't worry, it rings again automatically a bit later

Recurring reminders: say “every Monday” or “every month” and the reminder reschedules itself.

Check your reminders by voice:

The app checks your reminders and gives you the list of what's coming up.

Shopping lists

No more sticky notes on the fridge. Your list is on your phone, and you can share it with anyone.

Add items:

• By voice: “Add milk, butter and flour to my list”
• Manually: type the product name in the search bar
• From favorites: press the ♥ to add your regular products in an instant

At the store: check items as you go. Checked items move to the bottom to keep the view clear.

Multiple lists: create as many lists as you need (Market, Hardware, Pharmacy...) and archive them when done.

Calendar

View all your appointments and reminders in a monthly view. Each day with an event is marked with a dot.

Create an event:

• By voice: “Dentist appointment Thursday at 3 PM”
• Manually: press on a calendar day → + button → fill in details

Press an event to see its details, edit or delete it.

Memos & notes

For everything you want to remember without a specific date: codes, numbers, ideas, practical info...

Create a memo:

• By voice: “Note that the WiFi code is ABCD1234”
• Manually: Memos tab → + button

Biometric protection: you can lock sensitive memos (passwords, codes...) so they're only accessible with your fingerprint or face recognition.

Find your info by voice:

The app searches your memos and gives you the answer directly.

Organize your memos by categories to find them easily.

Contacts

A built-in address book to keep the contact details of important people.

For each contact, you can save:

• Name, phone, email, address
• Birthday
• Relationship (family, friend, professional...)
• Custom info (clothing size, allergies, preferences...)

Sharing

Memo++ isn't just a solo app. You can share certain things with your loved ones.

What you can share:

• Reminders and events: share a reminder with a linked contact so you're both notified
• Shopping lists: invite someone to your list so they can add, check and see items in real time
• Memos: share a note with a linked contact (read-only or with editing rights)

How to:

1. First, create the contact in the Contacts tab and link their Memo++ account to yours
2. Then, open the reminder, event or memo you want to share
3. Press the share button and choose the person

Customization

Make the app your own from Settings:

• Color: 8 colors to choose from (indigo, blue, turquoise, green, orange, red, pink, purple)
• Visual style: 3 themes — Classic, Glass (semi-transparent) or Minimal (flat design)
• Dark mode: disabled, enabled at chosen hours, or automatic at sunset
• Alarm ringtone: 14 sounds to choose from, preview before deciding
• Voice response: enable spoken confirmation, choose voice (male/female, various accents), adjust speed and pitch
• Alarm snooze: adjust ring duration, snooze delay and time before re-ring

Offline mode

No WiFi? No mobile data? Memo++ keeps working.

What works without internet:

• View all your reminders, shopping, notes and contacts
• Create, edit and delete reminders, notes and shopping items
• Alarms ring normally

What doesn't work without internet:

• Voice control (mic is grayed out)
• Sharing with other people

As soon as you're back online, everything you did offline syncs automatically. Nothing is lost.

My account

Create an account: you can sign up with a username + password, or directly with your Google account.

Forgot your password? Add your email address in your profile settings. If forgotten, a code will be sent by email to reset your password.

Delete my account: in Settings, at the bottom. All your data is permanently deleted. It's your right, and it's simple.
